Open The Doors To Israeli Fashion Part 6. – Ella Levy
Slowly coming to and end of our countdown – Israeli designers wearing their self-designed garments in front of Doron Ritter‘s camera. We came together to tell everyone in the world: #OpenTheDoorsToIsraeliFashion
Our next Tel Avivian fashion ambassador is the sweetheart of the White City’s fashion scene: Ella Levy.
“I don’t really like to be photographed, I much prefer to be behind the scene.” – says the young designer. Yet on the photos she is so beautiful, she could easily be mistaken with any of her models. Isn’t she just gorgeous?
She feels the most comfortable wearing her own designs. “I always go out wearing something from my own collection. People ask me where is it from – it’s the best advertisement.” – says Ella.
Her incredible story has been told on the blog just a few months ago – and I’m glad I could be there to see another milestone, when she met Tamar Primak, one of her favorite designers at our photo shooting. It was a blessing to see two these wonderfully talented people finally meeting each other. It was a perfect evening of a perfect day.
Of course I won’t let you go without some eye candy from Ella Levy’s spring / summer collection…
Why open the doors to Israeli fashion?
“There is something different here from other countries and places. It might be because of the difficult situation we live in – it brings something unusual. There is no other place like Israel – you can’t compare the local style and atmosphere to anything else. You can argue if u love it or not – but s its unique in its very own way.” Ella Levy
Check out Ella’s website, Facebook page, and Pinterest profile. Her studio is open every Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 at Mossinson street 3, Tel Aviv and every other day by appointment. Telephone: 0523990483
